Former Vice President, Corporate Sales Masimo Corporation
Life Science Partner has recruited Jim Beyer, former Vice President of Corporate Sales of Masimo Corporation to become Senior Vice President of Sales for Vestagen Technical Textiles. In this role, Beyer will lead Vestagen’s partnerships with hospital integrated delivery networks and lead the development of the strategic marketing plan.
During his ten years at Masimo Corporation, Beyer was a champion in developing new products that were differentiated in an increasingly cost-competitive environment. “Beyer understands the market and how to launch products that meet expectations as to outstanding performance and cost-effectiveness,” states Tom Callaway, MD, Founder and President of Life Science Partner and Venture Partner of HealthQuest Capital, an investor in Vestagen. “He knows how to illustrate the patient and cost benefits of hospital products so that purchasers make decisions to buy them.”
Balancing his product development and sales management career, Beyer began his career on the hospital purchasing side of the industry. As Director, Supply Chain Development, he led Columbia/HCA to create its first ever centralized purchasing process and central warehousing solution. He subsequently joined Novation, the largest Group Purchasing Organization learning about supply chain systems and contract negotiations.
Beyer earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon.
