William Glass joins Allergan as Senior Director, Publications, Global Medical Affairs

Life Science Partner recruits former Assistant Director, Global Medical Publishing at Abbott Laboratories

Life Science Partner announces the recruitment of William Glass, PhD, an experienced global medical affairs executive, to Allergan, Inc., to become Senior Director, Publications, Global Medical Affairs for the company.  Allergan is a technology-driven, multi-specialty health care company that discovers, develops and commercializes innovative pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices in the areas of eye care, neurosciences, medical dermatology and urology.

Working with the physician leaders at Abbott Laboratories, Glass oversaw the development and execution of the global publication strategy across therapeutic areas utilizing the considerable scientific data generated by Abbott clinical trials.  Prior to joining Abbott, Glass was a Senior Research Scientist at Centocor Research and Development in Radnor, Pennsylvania.

Glass earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego University and then received PhD from University of California, Irvine. He completed his Post Doctoral Fellowship at NIAID in Bethesda, Maryland.
